We have received several request for assistance with developing custom maps based off of our interactive UT campus map. Well, wait no longer!
The basic functionality of the UT Campus Map Template is powered by the Javascript Google Map API v.3 and the jQuery Library. The Google Map API creates the actual map and we leverage the jQuery Library to achieve the functionality of the markers, info windows, and location list items.
We have packaged an interactive map resource that has done all the heavy lifting for you. All you need to do is download the package, choose the specific campus locations you want on your map (we even provide that data too), and Voila! There you have it.
